This exceptionally rare jacket is from Miu Miu's seminal S/S 1999 collection co-designed by Stefano Pilati. Its workwear-inspired design captures the season's utility-driven aesthetic, while maintaining the timelessness of a true modern classic. This men's version was not presented on the runway show; similar designs were showcased on women.
The jacket is crafted from substantial nylon with a structured drape and a dull synthetic shine. The silhouette is boxy and effortless with dropped shoulders. The design consists of a zipper front leading up to a sharp point collar. There are two chest pockets featuring the season's signature pleated-trapezoid construction, and two waist pockets with thin vertical welts. The back has a denim-style yoke construction. The sleeves and lower back are finished with chunky velcro tabs. Finally, the interior is unlined.
