VISIT
Accessible by appointment, ENDYMA's showroom in Berlin houses a collection of over 5,000 objects. It is not a warehouse of assorted clothes – every piece is professionally restored, meticulously documented and with a story to tell; we do not have the space for filler. The archive is open to all – industry professionals, researchers, students and enthusiasts. Contact us to request an appointment.
What to expect? The collection focuses on designers from the 1980s and 1990s, starting with the world's biggest collection of vintage Helmut Lang. It is accompanied by a variety of European labels such as early Giorgio Armani, Dirk Bikkembergs, Burberry Prorsum, Raf Simons, Miu Miu and Lieve van Gorp, among others. Additional sections showcase bags, shoes, WWII and mid-century military uniforms, home-produced garments and unconventional accessories. Select pieces are available for sale.
Unlike museum collections where objects are presented in 'do not touch' displays, we work hard to provide an interactive experience – allowing visitors to engage directly with important designers and garments that have shaped fashion history. To ensure each appointment is given appropriate attention, prospective guests are asked to state the purpose of their visit. Please note that most visits are in the format of guided tours with a dedicated member of our team and subject to an hourly fee.
