A once forgotten couture house in decline, Balmain was transformed by Christophe Decarnin's forward-looking mix of razor-sharp tailoring, army surplus outerwear and exotic materials. Unashamedly luxurious and inimitably rock 'n roll, Decarnin's look has turned the maison into a luxury powerhouse. Since 2011, Olivier Rousteing is the creative director.
