Simple and remarkably precise, this jacket is an ode to timeless sportswear courtesy of Ennio Capasa's superb eye for proportion. Inspired by classic mid-century blousons, the design has been discreetly reworked by breaking the typical pattern shapes into multiple pieces. This creates elegant lines throughout the garment while giving it a subtly three-dimensional shape. Note the construction of the sleeves.

The piece is crafted from an unusual performance fabric consisting of 48% linen, 40% nylon and 12% polyurethane. The linen content brings texture; the nylon offers durability and a subtle synthetic shine. The polyurethane is applied on the fabric's underside, giving it water-resistant properties. This tasteful combination of natural and artificial components is paramount to both style and function.

Inspecting the jacket's details further: Note the angular point shape of the collar. Two waist pockets are placed discreetly alongside the four panels shaping the front, rendering them invisible. The interior is unlined with wide facing panels and the hem is reinforced with tape. All in all, an exemplary garment.
