Miu Miu men's traditional footwear is quite hard to find and offers a rare example of the label's superb eye for proportion. While the line's sportier offerings tend to be resoundingly strange, cobbler-made designs capture the label's forward-thinking spirit through the subtleties of traditional craftsmanship. In our view, it is this intersection of novel and classic that defines Miu Miu's best work.

Dated somewhere between 2006 and 2008, these elegant riding boots are a beautiful example of how subtle changes in a classic shape can result in an extraordinary and directional design. The boots have a fitted upper silhouette with a dramatic point toe. The distinctive shape is emphasised by a pronounced stitched welt and a thick leather sole with chunky geometric rubber treads. The pull-on style has a slightly wider shaft with visibly stitched grosgrain pull tabs on its sides.

The all-black upper is crafted from heavyweight calfskin, with a stacked leather midsole and treaded rubber outsole. The interior is fully lined in leather.
